Shipping Policy

Run With Scissors ships hand-dyed yarn and fiber goods from Denver, Colorado, United States. Orders are packed with care and shipped through USPS.

Please review the details below before placing your order.


Processing Time

Orders are processed within 2–4 business days unless otherwise stated in the product listing.

Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

During shop updates, launches, or promotions, processing times may be slightly longer. If delays occur, we will communicate them clearly.


Shipping Method

Orders ship via USPS using tracked services such as:

  • USPS Ground Advantage
  • USPS Priority Mail (when appropriate)

Shipping method is selected based on package weight, size, and destination.

Tracking information is automatically emailed when your order ships.


Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Package weight
  • Package size
  • Destination
  • USPS rates at the time of purchase

We do not inflate shipping costs.


Delivery Estimates

Estimated delivery times are provided by USPS and are not guaranteed.

Once a package is accepted by the carrier, delivery speed and routing are outside our control.

Run With Scissors is not responsible for carrier delays due to:

  • Weather
  • Mechanical issues
  • High-volume seasons
  • Postal disruptions

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • The customer is responsible for reshipping costs
  • Orders will not be refunded for address errors

If you notice an address mistake, contact us immediately. We can only correct it before shipment.


Lost or Missing Packages

If tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate the package:

  1. Check with household members and neighbors
  2. Check around your delivery location
  3. Contact your local post office

If the package is still missing, contact us and we will assist with a carrier claim when possible. Replacement or refund decisions are made case-by-case. Lost packages are not guaranteed a refund.


Damaged Packages

If your order arrives visibly damaged:

  • Take photos of packaging and contents
  • Contact us within 5 days of delivery
  • Include your order number and photos

We will work with you to resolve the issue.


Combined Orders

We may combine multiple orders placed close together when possible. If combined shipping results in significant overpayment of postage, we may refund the difference at our discretion.


International Shipping

International customers are responsible for:

  • Customs fees
  • Import taxes
  • VAT
  • Duties

We are not responsible for customs delays. Once your package enters customs we have no way of tracking it.
