Main & Mayhem is a hand-dyed fingering-weight sock set built backward—in the best possible way.

Each set begins with a one-of-a-kind Pot Licker mini. A Pot Licker is a mini skein used to soak up the remaining dye after a dye pot is finished. It may pass through six or seven different dye pots before becoming fully saturated, collecting unexpected layers of color along the way.

Once the mini is complete, I dye a 100-gram tonal skein specifically to complement it. Because the Pot Licker can’t be planned or precisely recreated, every Main & Mayhem pairing is truly unique.

The tonal Main lets cables, lace, and textured stitches take center stage, while the Mayhem adds a burst of contrast at the cuffs, heels, toes, or anywhere your socks need a little trouble. These sets are perfect for textured sock patterns that deserve yarn with just as much personality.

Each set includes:

• One 100g tonal fingering-weight skein

• One 20g coordinating Pot Licker mini

• 120g total of hand-dyed sock yarn

Naturally unpredictable and impossible to duplicate. Once a set is gone, it’s gone.
